Can I completley remove outlook express 5 from my system? (win98) IE5

If so How?

I want to clear it completely then reinstall from scratch
my mail prog will not launch since my virus attack, I have tried an over the top re-install, I even re-intalled 5 (I was on 6) but still no luck::.(

And delete the files that the huy says and your computer will be IE-free

Do remember to shut SFP or WFP or what ever it's called in windows 98.

You must have a copy of IE on your computer to install so goto corporate.windowsuprgrade.microsoft.com (I hope it's the right one)

Next question: I am now getting a password prompt on windows start up, I never used to. I just click cancel and it starts up fine. How can I get rid of the prompt?

Just press the enter key without antering eny details when the prompt pops up at the start, that will cancel it from doing it again.
