For how long? Not that I counted, but it was a good 5-6 months, and yes, I did see her face to face. I acctualy got her twice, the second time for about 3-4 months....I never should have gone with her the second time, but hormones, you know....what can I say...nonetheless, both times together would make for nearly a year...And, just as a side note, when it did finaly end, it ended on a good note, we're still in pretty regular contact...

GoF, if you think the drugs are bad in small towns....You may or may not think I'm stupid, but regardless of your feelings about me, just take it from me...I've lived in cities of millions, and I've lived in towns of less that 10 000, less than 5000 at one point even (though just breifly in that one), and there is no place with more drugs than a border town...Not only is Niagara Falls a border city, but it's also a tourist hub, which makes for alot of drugs...When I walk home from school, over half the time I have to walk through second hand pot smoke, right infront of the school (As a side note, I usualy hold my breath till I'm not downwind of it...) The amount of people I have met here that are not druggies, I could count on one hand. Even then, all of them are guys, and all of them are total nerds...

So, regardless of what you may think of me, take my word for the above, I've lived in all kinds of places, none have more drugs than the border city with the tourists.

However, don't think this area is clean by any means...I refuse to go to the bathrooms in our school because you can't breathe when you walk into them. My county a few years ago was second in the USA in percentage of underage population who drink, and I believe highest in the nation for per capita alcohol consumption for all ages. (Don't ask me for a source on that...I've looked and looked and not found one besides taking the word of the teachers that told me at school) I will concede that it's very likely not out in the open as much here as it is where you live, but it's a serious problem, everybody knows it, and nobody cares except the few of us who are disgusted by it and can't do anything about it.

It's a state law in Ohio that the only way a teacher can bust a student for smoking in school is to watch the student take a drag off a lit cigarette. There have been instances in our school of a teacher walking in the bathroom, seeing smoke rising from a stall, hearing the student inhale through a cigarette, hearing the cigarette fizzle out as the student throws it in the toilet, and then the teacher getting ripped a new one when he/she tried to report the student because the teacher didn't actually see the student take the drag. It's pathetic.

I almost guarantee you that I could walk into any gas station or carryout in Celina, pick up a case of beer, pay for it, and leave without anyone giving me a second glance. I'm 17 years old and it's illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to purchase alcohol.

There was a drug bust in my county a couple months ago...seven people were arrested and are pending trial in connection with a nationwide drug ring...marijuana, cocaine, meth...

**could continue with stories**

It may not be as bad as where you live, but it's certainly not just a little thing here either.

I'll give you that about the drinking, but the drugs...when it's as out in the open here as I've said, it just goes to show that nobody cares..the few who aren't on drugs can't do jack **** about it. At least in your school they mostly just smoke ciggarettes in the bathroom. In my school you can smell the pot when you walk by the bathrooms, you can smell it all over at elast half the people in any of my classes at any given time, you can smell it when you walk by the cars parked infront of my school, just by talking to alot of the people here you can tell their absolutely stoend out of their heads, let alone smelling the drugs on them.

And another thing, you think people are careless over there about alcohol? When I lived in Quebec, I once bought a poverty pack (6 pack, if you don't know what that is) for my step dad at the Depaneur (Convinence Store) up the street...how old was I, may you ask? I was 11. They just don't care in Quebec...I mean an 11 year old...really now...the lady just gave me a weird look and took the money...I got served in a bar back when I was 15....not that I mind any of this, of course, I have nothing against booze, but I'm just saying...

as for you Steve...did she see my face? ....Idiot....if I saw her face, and was around her in person, is it not logical to assume she saw my face? What, do you think I walk around wearing ****ing paper bag over my head?

And you Alpha...shave my head? is that supposed to offend me?

He pulled out in front of a mother and three children who were probably travelling in the neighborhood of 65-70 MPH. (65 is the speed limit on that highway) The lady didn't have time to react and hit the guy's vehicle...the mother and her kids were killed instantly. The guy walked from the scene if I remember correctly.

When the trial was over and done with, he spent a lot of time at school bragging to people that he had killed them and was going to be serving time in Juvenile Detention...with no other punishment...because he was 17 and a minor.

I've heard nothing about anyone at our school saying they would stop drinking and driving because of it.

I do think people are careless here about alcohol.

I wasn't saying they weren't...but that sort of thing happens everywhere, not just there...

I have no problem with alcohol, but I do, as I hope most people would, have a problem with drunk drivers....they have to be the stupidest people around....and, just as the case you mentioned, alot of the time they kill innocents and walk away with nothing more than a bump on the head...

Just one other thing....a stop sign for a [broad[/b] going onto a 4 lane highway? They have these things called onramps these days....they make possible the miracle of eliminating roads intersecting with major highways...

[/B]I know that...I, unlike you, am legally allowed to drive on those things, you know.

You see, in America we have this thing called diversity, and it's not just in people. It's in everything, and you wind up with some pretty idiotic combinations. The four lane highway that leads out of this town to the east goes about ten miles before it reaches an intersection with overpasses/onramps/offramps/etc., and before that, the roads that intersect every mile or so do so at a stop sign.

You do see the economic advantage to not building and maintaining overpasses and onramps and offramps every mile for "Bob's Road" which might run for three miles and have two houses on it, thereby taking up acreage which could otherwise be used as farmland and spending money to maintain overpasses and onramps used by maybe five people a day, correct?

Yes, well if there had been an onramp there, the mother and her kids likely wouldn't have died...

And just cos I can't drive on the big highways legally does not mean I don't....I've acctualy driven on them legally, with a drivers ed instructor...you wanna see some fast paced, fierce traffic, go on the QEW at Rush Hour
