This week is my spring break from my college classes...do I get to have fun?
Nope. I'm spending this week every day getting back from high school as soon as I can (around 11 AM) and watching my idiot stepbrother that broke his leg and needs someone here all the time (he can't be trusted alone...and he needs help getting food and getting from the couch to the bathroom and stuff...and if his leg starts swelling, he has to get to the ER pronto) until either my dad or my stepmom get home around 7 every night.
If I don't get paid at least $3/hour, I'm going to be pissed off. I have much better things to do than babysit a 24-year-old who's too irresponsible to take care of himself. I understand that he needs the care, but he's 24 years old...he should be able to make arrangements for that for himself and not have to dump himself in our lap every time we turn around. I was planning to use this week to do things like fix the light on my car that's messed up, really clean out the car, go to the library and maybe do some reading...overall do anything that involves taking a freaking vacation from things...but no, I have to stay here...
Of course, insurance won't cover bringing in a hospice nurse or something...
